We all have our favorite clothes. It could be a dress, a shirt or a pair of jeans. We also know the feeling of getting stains on our favorite items, or even worse, on a favorite item of a client.
The panic and the stress of not knowing how to get rid of these tough stains sometimes can be completely overwhelming. To help you solve these problems, here are some tips on how to cheaply and easily remove some of the most stubborn stains from common fabric items. Remember, to remove tough stains, you must use products specifically designed to care for the fabric. Therefore, please do not hesitate, and use the right product to remove hard stains for the ultimate cleaning experience!
If you use a washing machine:
Choose the correct temperature and cleaning procedure.
Generally, for white clothing and very dirty things, please use hot water; for dark clothing, please wash with cold water; for clothing that may fade in color, please use warm water.
Do not overload the washing machine.
If you wash by hand:
Put the clothes in the washing solution, after the powder is completely dissolved.
To ensure minimal wrinkles on your clothes, try hanging them to dry.
Pre-soak. Soak heavily soiled clothes in warm water with high-quality CLEACE washing powder.
Pre-treatment.
If pre-treatment is not carried out, some stains will remain on the clothes, making it difficult to remove. Although there are some special stain removers, did you know that some high-quality laundry detergent can also help you remove stains on fabrics? Just use CLEACE for pretreatment, you can remove many tough stains then. However, for stains that require special attention, you can follow the tips below.
Don’t forget to check the colour fastness by testing on a hidden part of the fabric in advance before starting the pre-treatment process.
Blood: Rinse item with cold water, and use CLEACE washing powder to wash them at a temperature of 30-40℃.
Ink: Wipe the stain with a cotton cloth dipped in alcohol (be careful with unstable dyes!), and then use CLEACE for regular washing.
Wax or paraffin: Use a blunt knife to carefully remove the remnants of wax and then iron the fabric between layers of blotting paper (in this case, put the fabric inside out on the ironing board). Then wash normally using CLEACE.
Fruit: Use CLEACE to wash in a thermal cycle.
Red wine: Sprinkle some salt or baking soda on fresh stains, then wash with CLEACE.
Bubble Gum or adhesive tape: Ice the stain or freeze the fabric in the freezer. Use a blunt knife to remove the excess and put the stain on blotting paper, wiping from the inside with cotton wool soaked in gasoline, alcohol or acetone (nail polish remover). Then use CLEACE for washing as usual.
Coffee or tea: Use CLEACE to wash in hot water.
Grease, oil or margarine: Place the stain on blotting paper and wipe from the inside with cotton wool soaked in gasoline or alcohol. Let the fabric dry, soak in lukewarm water for five to ten minutes, and then wash the fabric as usual with CLEACE.
Lipstick: Place the item on a sheet of blotting paper with the stain facing down, and then pat it with alcohol-dipped cotton wool from the reverse side. If necessary, replace the paper, and then use CLEACE for regular washing.
Dirt: Soak in lukewarm water for five to ten minutes, add vinegar, and then use CLEACE for regular washing.
